I wanted to develop a couple of B & W films one agfa APX 100 a couple of FP4 and Fujicolor 200 The first thing i noticed was that the Fuji is a C41 color film...
Then i took my newly ordered Formadon R09..looked at the label which say made in CZ and that its very toxic so do not touch
Then i found in tiny letters " enclosed see instructions and recommended developing times" BUT ther are NO instructions with the bottle which is sealed in a leak proof plastic bag? So far couldn't find any online
I looked at the "caddy" site where i ordered it but nothing there either
Not to worry i thought i have a full bottle of Ilfasol 3 which has the instructions glued to the bottle, when i found it it was emptyit has eaten through the plastic--------
Next i took the Rodinal which was next to it,that is ok the box is a bit powdery from the ilfasol but otherwise ok
But is it ok???Its a bottle i bought from a sale of out of date material in 2002 It still has its sheet of developing times with it i will try it but can i try it with a film id like to develop properly or might it be to contrasty or cause bad grain????
I still cant get the film on my stainless spiral....but i now have a second patteson tank and changeing bag
The new fixer is ALSO not correct
I also ordered Tetenol fixer which ive just seen says for paper only??? I thought fixer was universal? As it used to be?
I have a almost full bottle of Ilford Ilfostop which is also quite old i hope that will be ok to fix my film----i dont want clouding film once out of the tank and dry
