Has anyone had any issues with image corruption in their M8?

A few times since I purchased mine in April of this year, I've had images in a shoot that show up as corrupted in Lightroom.

When I look at them on the camera, the telltale sign is that zooming in on the image using the dial just results in a pixelated image that never "sharpens up" like the "uncorrupted" images do.

I have image preview turned off, but sometimes press the "PLAY" button while the camera is writing the SD card. Could this possibly be causing the corruption?

This is rather frustrating since I'm losing images. Thankfully, this has happened about three times in the ~1600 images I've shot.

Probably Lightroom is reading the Jpegs of the DNG. Has the file of these images the same size as the other files?
I think that your technique of reviewing images by pressing play as they write may have something to do with it. Maybe you could switch on autoreview?

Thanks Jaap.

Yes, the file in question is in fact much smaller than the other ones.

I always shoot DNG, and those are all right around 10MB whereas this corrupted one is 2MB in size.

This just seems like a firmware issue that was perhaps instigated by my button pressing.
