OK , it isn't a Leica M 8 , but my Asdee can't ''resolve '' my Pentax K 10D ... so I am back to considering the only rangefinder SLR '' clone ''- the Panosonic L 1 - as a complement to emma the M 8 .
Can't afford / won't pay the Uk asking price of £1000 [ $2000 ] , so am thinking of a used camera from USA .
Though come to think of it - a superlative Leica fast zoom means virtually a free body ! Such a shame it's just for the 4/3rds system !
Thanks dee

Hallo dee, remember to add 17.5% VAT (although there is no duty on digital still cameras).
I've seen these pop up on eBay for much less though - here's one on there now http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/panasonic-DMC...ryZ31388QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
(no connection with seller / know nothing about him)

rangefinder SLR? Digilux 2? some confusion here, i think

The Digilux 2 is known as a rangefinder/SLR clone because, like a RF, it doesn't have a mirror or pentaprism and is therefore very quiet and thin but, like a SLR, you look through the lens (with an electronic viewfinder) when shooting.bottley1 said:rangefinder SLR?
