My P suffers from non-contrasty rangefinder patch. It's almost transparent and especially in low light situations it has been quite hard to use.

One day I got a small sampler of Lee flash light filters, all colours. You can buy these cheap samplers from usual sources. I found out that when I place a yellow filter in front of the rangefinder window (the small round one) my camera's rangefinder patch becomes easier to see. So I simply unscrewed the rangefinder window cover by hand and cut a suitable round piece of yellowish-orange filter and placed it inside the cover and screwed it back.

Wha-la! no more rangefinder patch worries 🙂
