In love, again...

I sold my QL-17 G-III last year, because I was tired of it`s hopeless metering and some battery problems.
Walking into my local camera store yesterday to buy some fixer and paper developer, in the corner of my eye I saw this sweet little QL-17(non G-III) pointing at me, and she screamed: "Pleeeeese buy me, I have several more years in me, and I`ll promise you sharp photographs and good exposures!"
50 bucks later I was walking out sweet-talking it, and promised it my faithful love for years to come.....

So here I am again, with this little sweet thing of a camera, and now I`m committed to make it work out between us....
So I brough a lightmeter with me to keep track of the metering when shooting and she was way more accurate than the previous one, as long as I meter off something 18% grey and use the exposure lock 🙂

So I guess this is it, and as long I keep her properly fed with Tri-X, only death can do us apart 😉

🙂 She`s just the same size as the G-III, so it`s probaly one of the later Ql-17`s...

I had the same issues with my GIII, I almost came to blows with it (ya know, the hammer kind).

One day, I decided to dispense with the built in meter entirely and go with a handheld. It's been heaven ever since.
