I stumbled across a most interesting web page called Way Back Machine . It will show you what any website looked like at any given point in time since it's debut (for the most part).

I think it's a lot of fun, and I think the forum community may enjoy. Have a look at the link below... look familiar?

Jorge, the MP guy with user ID 1.

And the classifieds were in the beginning just another forum ("35mm Classifieds") with forum ID 19, but it's long gone. The new format (with paid ads and all) was introduced in April 2006, shortly after I joined. There were lots of discussions at the time about it - people being disappointed with the new format, saying that it would never catch on etc. - well I guess they were proven wrong :)

I was seeing Jorge's name a lot and figured he was one of the 'Founding Fathers'.
