hi all
i'm totally new on this forum
i have a leicameter MC (which works) and which is great on my M3
but i would love to find this small white screen which is used to mesure the incident light
does anyone know where I could find one?
and i would be also interested in buying a booster (working) for my leicameter
thanks

Welcome to RFF. It cannot be easy to find what you want, but here's wishing you good luck.

One option is to use a piece of translucent white plastic and, if necessary, put black lines or dots on it with a felt pen until incident readings are correct.

Hi,
I've seen several on ebay: you just have to keep looking and then three will turn up at once... Some dear and some cheap with leather case etc. On the UK version of ebay someone appears to be selling off a large collection of meters and parts of meters. The stuff trickles out almost every week.

Regards, David

Hej!
I might have what you are searching. I recently bought a M2 and in the leather case there is a small pocket containing a piece of plastic marked INCIDENT LIGHT. But I don´t know which lightmeter it is made for. I suppose a Leica one since it fits in the pocket? Since I have absolutely no need for it you could have it for a symbolic sum.

They get brittle with age and break, and are seldom used and easily lost or misplaced. They're not really that good at reading incident light either because they're flat, not domed like most incident meters.yuu'd be better off learning how to make a reflected reading off the palm of your hand. Once you determine how far off, and in which direction, you can change the ASA to compensate.
