I'm thinking about getting one of these for my Bessa R3A. I miss the 28mm perspective but don't want to break the bank.
Has anyone used one? Impressions? Images?

It is not going to be wide on 35mm film as its for half frame cameras.

It won't cover the full frame as it was made for half frame cameras. You'll get shots more like this on a 35mm camera (not my photo, just the first hit I found on flickr showing the vignetting):

Thanks, guys. I had no idea. That'll save me hurling it against the wall after processing the first roll I shoot with it!

On the M8 it would be a 28x1.3333 lens=~37mm/2.8.
It would be like using a 35mm lens.

You still need to modify the lens as it won't go to infinity on a regular LTM body. Because the Chaika camera it comes off of has a different lens-to-film distance.
Some shots with my modified one on my Epson R-D1 (where it works like a 40mm)
Vignetting isn't so bad with the R-D1's crop factor.
