I went ahead and found me an old industar-69 28mm half frame lens. Made all the necessary mods detailed by Hammish Gill
I have to say, this thing is really nice. small, great for street shooting. It's not RF coupled, but that's ok. It vignettes a little much, but I guess I'm fine with it. @ $40 from russia, I have no complaints.

Nice pictures!
I think I'll need to get one after seeing your result.
Did it hard to use? I mean, by zone focusing on Rd1? What aperture do you use to get sharp images without vignetting?

no matter what F stop you use, vignetting is there. It's intended for use on a format smaller than 35mm, so, expect this characteristic. I was using F5.6, F4, no issues. @ infinity focus is pretty good at around 16'+ lighting was pretty dull though. I bet @ F8 I can pull in a little more detail. I'm very happy with the results. It's my poor man's 28mm with no coupled focus!

Congrats on joining the I-69 fan club. It's a surprisingly good lens. You'll like it, I'm sure. Lately I've been using it on my R-D1 to practise my Bruce Gilden routine, i.e. harassing random strangers with up-close flash shots. Good fun, nice snapshot lens.
