I'd like to use my collapsible FED-50 on an LTM-M adapter, but I'm running into a small problem.
If I want to screw in the lens so that it doesn't sit loose in the adapter, the infinity lock is blocked by a flange on the adapter.
I can only think of two options:
- file off a bit of the adapter flange, which can't be undone
- file off a bit of the lens flange that catches the infinity lock, also can't be undone
- remove the infinity lock, but I like to use it as a tab
Is there any other way to go about it?
And if not, how does one remove the infinity lock (there isn't a screw head on either the front nor back)?

Is the same thing a problem on a collapsible Industar?? Tried a different brand adapter?

Not sure if your lens will be the same but on the Industar 22 the infinity lock plunger screws together. The back part has two small holes drilled in its face for a pin spanner. If you're careful, and don't mind being a little bit brutal, it should be possible to unscrew it with a pair of pliers; you could wrap something round the jaws stop anything being damaged. The body of the lock remains in place so focusing should not be a problem.

There has been discussion on this before and you may find it by trawling back about a year.
As I understand it, the FED lens mount stands more proud of the body than the Zorki. The FED pin only just misses the body on the FED-1 but will foul on the Zorki-1. The I-22 Zorki lens may only just miss on a Zorki-1 but misses by a wide margin on the FED-1.
Solution - get an Industar-22

Thanks for the comments guys..
In the end I decided to just take a file and remove the infinity catch from the flange on the lens. Reason being that it's cheaper to replace the lens than the adapter..
The focus tab remains on the lens, and I can now have the FED-50 plus adapter on my Bessa-T without a problem..
