Hello

I've got an M3, as well as an industar-22 collapsible lens which I'd like to use on it. I bought 50mm adapter from KEH and it didn't work; the infinity lock blocked the lens release button. I thought I'd ask you all if there's any way to use this lens on my M3.... Does any such adapter exist?

Thanks

Some adapters have their edge cut off to fit lenses with infinity lock. post a photo of your adapter and lens.

I returned the adapter to KEH... so I can't take a picture of it. That adapter would attach to the lens, but once I mounted the lens to the camera, the lock cut off half of the focus throw. If anybody has an adapter which is compatible with this body and lens that they'd like to sell, or otherwise know where to get one, please let me know.

I have to file adapter as it was already mentioned here to get I-22 focusing and lock on M4-2.
But I never figured out how to shim this lens to be accurate.

Some folks have removed the infinity lock. Some switch to an Industar-26m with the knobby ring focusing, thus no lever to get in the way. It's the same problem with trying to mount an I-22 or I-26m with lever focus on a FED-2, the infinity lock will drag on the coverings, and so the lens never fully seats in the mount. It's not the fault of Leica to have not taken into consideration someone might want to mount an FSU lens on their cameras. Or maybe they did. Hmmmm...

Filing back side of I-22 focusing knob fixed too low FED-2 lens mount flange problem. It is all about filing and bending with FSU.

Get ready to bend, they have file on you, this how it was in FSU.
