Does anyone have any recommendations regarding a good company that will provide worldwide insurance for my Xpan II? I am about to embark on a vacation in Turkey but my current travel insurance company will not provide cover for expensive camera items.
Thanks very much for any advice you can give!

Andy, I do not have any personal dealings with this, but there is an article at photo.net that may help.

Where are you located? I know a few good companies in Holland but haven't got a clue about other countries....

If you live in the US, you may want to try state farm, I have professional coverage under a "marine inland policy" which covers me everywhere, I'm not sure if they offer that on a non-pro vesion but is worth a phone call.

Thanks for the replies. I am British but based in Macedonia. I have found a UK company called Photoguard who offer unlimited worldwide coverage for about $200 a year. I think that's the best I can find.

Not the cost of the policy but what (and under what circumstances) is actually covered is most important. Make sure the policy covers what you want covered, and to which value. Also, check with Watchdog or so to find customer satisfaction comments on the insurance company (some are notoriously bad in coughing up the money).
