Hello fellow RFFers,
I just go myself an iPad (1st gen, 32 GB) for an upcoming two-week trip to NYC, to which I don't want to take my laptop (which I am also using for work, and which contains important data.) My plan is to use the iPad for storing and viewing my pictures, besides using the WiFi to access the internet whenever possible. Maybe also some quick editing and sharing, but that has low priority.
I already found this thread http://rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104096&highlight=ipad+dng, but it doesn't really answer the question I have. Namely: which iPad app is the best solution for simply *viewing* DNGs? I know, they need to be processed to be viewed, but I'm not so much interested in chimping than simply previewing them.
Ideally, that software would allow me to preview my imported DNGs in a gallery or library, similar to Lightroom on a "real" computer.
Any ideas? Also, any other tips you might want to share with an iPad noob? ;-)
