For my CZ 28 zm biogon I need a IR/UV filter.
Looking at the webshop I see the leica's are around 100 till 150 euro.
But, B+W also sells IR/UV filters.
Do they also work, or does it has to be leica?
And, I think the CZ 28 has a filterthreat of 46mm. Is this correct?
And what is the difference between the:
B+W 486 UV-IR sper 46 E
and:
B+W DP 486 UV-IR sper 46 E
It say's DP, what does this stand for?
Lots of questions. Hope someone can help me with it.

Well-known
1. Yes they work
2. 46mm is correct
3. "DP" stand for Digital Pro", and is described word for word on B&H, "B&W Digital Pro filters are characterized by a brushed chrome brass ring that will stylishly blend with today's modern digital cameras for both still and video formats." I'm assuming this is just a style variance and the glass is most likely no different.

B+W filters made in Germany, frame is brass made , Leica ir/cut filter made in Japan by Marumi, frame is aluminum, both will work with same result.
