Iraq visit

Just back from an academic conference in Erbil, Iraq. What a friendly place! I had a great time. In two different cafes, the owner wouldn't take my money for the drinks I'd had. The lack of tourists means that people are generally delighted to see a visitor, and photography is no problem. I can't wait to get into the darkroom at the weekend and see how I got on with the M3 + 50mm Summicron + HP5 plus. I would recommend it ... seriously.
