I have the chance to buy an Electro 35 for about $12. It's the model with the word "Electro" in script writing. I already have a GSN and like it very much as a shooter. Just wondering what to expect from the older pre-GSN version.
Thanks,
Michael

$12...if the camera works...How can you go wrong! Try it and give to us your appraisal. You will now be the expert.

Will the battery from the GSN also work in the Electro 35. Otherwise, I wont be able to test the electronics.

I still have a working mercury battery in mine, wonder how to dispose of it when it runs out...

As long as the camera works properly, they are excellent and foolproof

I also got mine with mercury battery. Can't one just drop mercury cell into dedicated "batteries for recycle" trashcan available in gas stations and large stores ? I can't figure out better place to dump it.
