Is $Aus 650 a good price for a Bessa R3A body?

I've been offered a Bessa R3A body for 650 Aussie dollars (about $US 450 at current exchange rates). It's about 18 months old and has only had about 3 rolls put through it. It looks as good as new.

Does that seem like a good price? Of course I'd have to factor in the cost of a lens but I gather that there are thousands of options for those. I have no rangefinder experience so I don't know how the Bessa's stack up against the opposition, but from some reading on here they seem quite well regarded.

I'd be interested in peoples views. Thanks

Considering the "retail" price is over $1000 (see here http://mainlinephoto.com.au/category15_1.htm for example), I think that it's a good price if the R3A is what you are after.

Another option is to get it new from our sponsor here at $569 USD (which turns out to be nearly $800 AUD). I think that he offers free shipping to RFF members.

I bought an R3A in similar condition last year from KEH for US$469 before shipping cost, which at current exchange rate is about A$650. At that price with no shipping cost you have a reasonable deal. The R3A was designed to get the most out of the Nokton 40/1.4 which is what spends most time on mine, but of course it also has framelines for 50, 75, and 90mm lenses.
