I'm just curious. If I wanted to use flash bulbs, where do I find the proper batteries to use the old BC flash guns? Or do I have to settle for using a cheapo version that takes "normal" batteries.
I tried googling for BC flashgun batteries, and flashbulb batteries, and didn't find anything useful yet.

22.5V block batteries still seem to have some applications, and are available at many industrial battery online stores. I haven't been able to locate 15V round cells, but there are various 12V alkaline remote control/alarm sensor batteries with higher capacity and not that much less voltage, which, being smaller (anywhere between 2/3 AA and 1/2 AAA size), could be packed inside units that take the 15V ones.

Google "eveready 412"; there are still a number of sources. $15 to $20 per plus shipping. Not cheap but they tend to last a long time. Do not freeze since they also tend to split.
