120 FP-4 just went up by 50 Cents at B&H and Adorama, and the 35mm/36 has been stable for for two years and might go up, too.

Time to stock up, what do you think?

Depends how deep your pockets are. I already see no point of supporting Ilford named films. Just Kentmere in bulks or roll of Kodak every other week.

The market drives the prices. 21% increase in film sales for Kodak Alaris. Greater demand and so they try and make a greater profit. An extra dollar on a roll of film won't break anyone.

Kentmere price has increased from $40 to $50 for 100ft roll recently; I gave up and switched to Ulltrafine Xtreme, which is still $40 now.

P.S BTW Kentmere is still under the same roof of Ilford

With the pound recently strengthening I would image Ilford branded and made films might be due some price rises irrespective of other company pricing.

The pound is on a bit of a rollercoaster ride right now, so it's difficult to say what the impact of that will be on prices. Silver prices have similarly been up and down although the long term trend has been generally flat over the last 5 years.

I burn through Ilford film in 120 and 35 like nobodies business. So my opinion would be YES. Stock up and shoot away

Anytime is good time to stock up, since the price will always be on the rise. And I believe the increasing demand is never the only factor behind this.
