I am interested in buying a Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic Instant Film Camera to take photographs at social gatherings like birthday parties and the like, but would prefer to produce black and white photographs. Unfortunately, the Instax instant film is only available in color
. My question is this:
Is there a filter or gel I could use (read: hack) which would essentially produce black and white photographs on the Instax instant print film?
I was speculating that perhaps some kind of grey filter or gel placed in front of the front element could produce the black and white effect I'm looking for, but perhaps I'm wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, there is no "grey" filter. ND filters will just make the colours darker. Impossible project is selling B&W instant film - try to investigate the compatibility.

Thanks for the quick response mfogiel. No B+W for the Instax line of cameras currently. With the Fujifilm FP-3000B B+W film being discontinued I'm looking for other options. I have traditionally used my Polaroid 250 Land Camera with Fujifilm FP-3000B to great effect.

The Impossible Project films are for Polaroid SX-70, 600, and Spectra type cameras. There's no compatibility with Fujifilm Instax cameras. On the other hand, it's pretty easy to get one of the Polaroid cameras: Impossible and MiNT both sell refurbished Polaroids and there are tons available on Ebay.
