Is there any enthusiasm here for the Super Ikonta 531/2?
I bought one, tried it, and well, I like my Bessa II even more, because of it.
Anyone here raving for the 531/2?
I need to bolster my enthusiasm for it, or to discover the secret of why the 531/2 was considered a "great 6x9cm" camera.
The Bessa II seems so much better.

I like mine just fine, I don't use it all that much these days but it is a babe magnet as is the smaller Super Ikonta A.

They're sort of 2 different animals. The Ikonta is a lot user friendlier due to it's film advance mechanism. Red window cameras are slower to use. But the Voigtlander's Heliar lens is in a class of it's own. Mine is giving a lot better image quality than my Hasselblad 80 Planar. Either going to spring for a 100 3.5 lens for the Hassy or hack the Heliar lens it. I don't have a Bessa II anymore, but my Bessa RF's uncoated Heliar is giving essentially the same shots w/ B&W and a yellow filter.
