Is there such a remote for Olympus?

I dream of a remote that can be plugged into my EP1 and from the remote be able to control things like shutter speed and aperture. Mainly because the bracketing function on the EP1 sucks and I have been playing with HDR panoramas lately. I guess the biggest thing would be shutter speed control as with these kinds of photos the aperture shouldn't change.

Does such a gadget exist that would allow me to remotely control the camera beyond just triggering the shutter release?

Well, first of all, "Holy Crap, another RFFer from SW China! @$%$!" I lived in CQ for 6 years, went to 西南政法大学. I live in Chengdu now. Small world.

With my Canon, I would do HDR and panos by setting the body to AE bracket, then I would use a remote like this one here to fire the shutter 3 times. I don't know what the problems you had with the bracket mode were. I never had an E-P1, only an E-P2 and now an E-M5.

Another option (if you have an iphone or android phone) is a TriggerTrap. It's an app for the phone and then a dongle that goes from the headphone jack to the camera. Supposedly, it can control shutter speed and aperture, but it's so new that there are few user reports about how it works on Oly bodies (especially 'older' ones like the E-P1).

Good luck!
