I wonder:

Is it normal to keep checking this forum for new threads/posts every half an hour? ehehehe

I must admit that this is a really good and adictive forum, one of the best around 🙂

Good persons, willing to help and teach, with no superiority complexes, that make the forum reading/breathing very pleasant 🙂

There is always a good subject on the air, and if you get a bit bored the gallery section has some of the best photos I have seen 🙂

When I was getting a bit lonely on my love for "old" film cameras (most photo forums at Portugal are completely biased to digital), I found this wonderfull site/forum and I am really glad I did 🙂

As usual, there's always a evil side:

My wallet is a bit thinner, but I do not regret since I am finding a new way to do photography (the rangefinder way ehehe)..


Anyway, thanks to everyone that make this little corner of the web possible!!

My observation is that photographers in general are obsessive people to begin with. Add to that, we are a fringe group that gravitates toward a specific obsessive niche. That means you are normally compulsive, obsessive for your peer group.

I tend to keep this one open on a browser tab and hit "new posts" when there's a break in the action.

Actually, I find that old rangefinders, and film cameras in general, give you quite a bit of value for the money. Even new cameras such as the Bessa are a bargain compared to the Latest And Greatest digital SLRs with all of those teeny buttons and arcane menus.

On a Mac use [apple key]R in Safari.

I usually go through the disscussion list and [apple key] click to open a thread in a new tab and then go through the tabs using [apple key]W to close after I am done reading that tab. By the time I am done I am back at the Main RFF window and can hit [apple key]R and start all over again.
