So I'm basically selling some of Medium Format gear to buy a high quality "ala-rangefinder" camera. And I mean High Quality like under 2000 dollars WITH the lens (bye bye dear Leica).
I'm really impressed with this camera. Both as far as the design and image quality. But is it really worth spending 1000 dollars + the viewfinder?
I've considered the R-D1, Sony NEX's, Olympus PEN, Fuji X100 etc.
And what Leica/Voigtlander wide-angle lens to go for with this camera? (far as quality and value)...I've been looking at Voigtlander 15mm, but not sure yet.
Any help appreciated! Thank you

Stay cool and wait to see how good it's really going to be. Quality, reliability. Don't get too impulsive. Don't run right out and sell your dear Leica! You will regret that. Give it time.

I sold my Leica M8 before I ever knew about the GXR and later pre-ordered a GXR. I have the body and mount now and I'm VERY satisfied with it. Much better than using the M lenses with the micro 4/3 bodies.
