Well, could not resist an Isolette III. Serious case of GAS I suppose. This is my third 6x6 folder, but I have only used one of them (the Nettar)...

It has an Apotar lens and a Prontor-S shutter, although the latter is standard for all Isolette III's I suppose? Not very surprisingly 1/2 and 1 seconds are too slow and the shutter does not always fire properly, so I am in for some C(L)A. L in paranthesis, since Prontor-S is supposed to run dry, although I might end up using a little light oil. Rangefinder is slightly off, although I do not know if I will bother with it. It is accurate enough to be used with all other apertures except f/4.5. Focusing ring is tight, so some lubing is certainly needed for that.

The surprise: bellows are OK. No light leaks and they don't even look like they might fall apart soon. From what I've heard I gather that good original bellows are rare with post-war Agfa folders.

A picture will follow if asked for :p

Why, a picture please!
:)

I have one with the Solinar lens, but something is stuck on the focusing area, I took off the ring, took off the lens even (at least the front elements), but for the life of me I can't figure out which one is supposed to rotate for focusing.

I'll let this one sit for a while.
