We have a photography festival in Istanbul nowadays. The master of the festival is William Klein. Beside him we have exhibitions of Ken Schles, Christopher Anderson, Mark Peterson, George Georgiou, Jun Abe, Seiji Kurata, Micheal Akerman and much more international and national photographer. The web page of the festival is www.fotoistanbul.org
I have also an exhibition about one of my project. I wrote a blog post for the exhibition. Here is the link of the post:

I hope darkroom enthusiasts will like it.

Thank you for posting. I got some information about it from William Klein's facebook page. I am waiting for the Ken Schles book (re-issue) to come out -- I've had it on order for a long time, and Akerman's book on Benares is a favourite of mine. It would have been great to be in Istanbul for this. Congratulations.

Are you Omar? Many of us really enjoy your work and your English essays on 'The Online Photographer.' Wish I could be there, but I'm not able to travel right now. Although I went to Turkey and took many wonderful photos, well, wonderful to me.

Mr. Schles mentioned about that book and he said it will be published in a very short period.

Hi. I'm Omar
If you can make it to Istanbul again one day, let us know so we can have a cup of coffee at Taylan's place (a darkroom/atelier, at a central location)
Cheers

Taylan, that is an amazing way to exhibit a set of photographs.
The transient nature of childhood memory is profoundly represented by the dissolving emulsion.
Love it, love it!
