50 Summilux is da DEVIL!
Today I purchased a Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex. This is a medium format TLR camera. It appears to be working but will have to run a roll through it before I can be sure. The lens looks clean and all the parts look like they are there and functioning. Really, I have been on cloud 9 since I bought it today. I went into the local camera store looking for some old rangefinders (looking to give the daughters something unique for xmas) when I came across this beauty. It has a leather case that came with it as well. I paid 75 plus tax. Now I have to buy a medium format scanner (OUCH!). After the new year I will probably sell my R9+motor drive+35-70 lens to get the money level back up. Don't use the R9 for anything anyway. Now you see why I titled this "It has Begun"?
