Hello Boyz n Girlz!..
My name is Lee.
Thought I would introduce myself..five years I have had this 'illness' we all seem to suffer from!
It all began at a camera fair , when for fun I thought I would buy my better half (also A foto taking nut)..a camera to stretch her capabilities..her camera being an all dancing , singing, modern Nikon; that does all but make tea for you!
The nice seller at the stall suggested a Russian camera..and waved this agricultural piece of machinery in my direction...a FED 4..really nice condition with e.r.c..."Great lenses come out of Russia" he informed me.
He put it through it's paces to show me all was well with it and I handed over the neccesary cash...about £20..if my memory serves me well.
The weight was the first thing that hit me..being used to shooting with smaller compact rangefinders..Ricoh 500G..that kind of camera yea?.
'Uhmm' I thought..'well, if it breaks down, I can always fix a shaft to it and use it for an hammer!'..i secreted it home and over the next week or so..filled it with film and took it for a ride. Well, when I saw the images that can be had with this camera and lens..need I say more?..I was hooked. My better half loved the camera and sometimes takes it out for a bit of fun but can't be swayed away from her Nikon.. Me?..well..if I say..2 FED 4's..FED2..KIEV 4..ZORKI1..FED1. MOSCOW 2..MOSCOW 5...I'm lost yes?..but in the right place!
ok ..I'm off to smell some leather..you know what I mean..yea?
Later dudes!

Definitly take a look thru the gallery and get your own set up. Everyone here is great. If you are looking for critique or info they are very kind. and constructive. and knowledgable (and most can spell better than I). anyway you will find your self on here alot and you also find that on this site you wallet starts to get thinner. everyone here is th devils advocate when it comes to buying rangefinders including my self. BROKE LOVES COMPANY.

hey, they're only Zorkis
Ahhh yes, welcome aboard Lee. Looks like you've got yourself a great gaggle of RFs there so you're going to fit in well amongst the brethren here. Share some photos when you get around to it and jump in on any thread.
