It's not blue but it's a new FED2. Also got a Zorki2c in the mail this week. Both cameras came from stateside & real clean & smooth in operation. Both feel real solid, Zorki has a brighter viewfinder than fed. Being new to FSU cameras I've had to study online the basics to operating these cameras, but am having much fun.:D Loaded up the FED with some bw400cn and took it for a spin today. SWEEEEEET! I do have one question I can't find anywhere so here it goes. On the zorki2c there is a set of numbers below the shutter speed dial that reads 0 to 30 in 5 digit increments & has a lever you can switch on each #. The FED doesn't have this and I'm stumped at what it's for, so any help would be appreciated. Hooked on FSUs in NC.;)

That's the flash sync setting I think but don't ask me how to work it! Anyway ... who needs flash on an FSU?

Congrats on the new jiggers and be sure to post pics. I'm amazed at the following these things have on this forum!

:)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Just go shoot the thing and be happy, let us know how it all goes and post a few pictures if you want.

Don't worry, soon the SSBFO Mafia will abduct your Fed, and a blue one in lieu will follow.

As Keith says, that's the flash sync setting. If you decide to use electronic flash, the lever should be at zero. Not sure what setting for flashbulbs--probably depends on which bulbs you're using.
Love to see some photos!
