to be sung to the tune of "C is for Cookie" by Cookie Monster of Sesame Street

J is for JPEG, that good enough for me,
J is for JPEG, that good enough for me,
J IS FOR JPEG, THAT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME, OH
JPEG, JPEG, JPEG start with J!

Thank you. I feel much better now.😀

With best regards.

This may seem irrelevant, but ... what is your point?!?

As one of our numbskull politicians here in Australia is fond of saying, "Please explain!" (Not that she ever has, basically being illiterate as well as racist.)

Or I may start singing my own tune - "TIFF is TerrIFic"!

There's nothing wrong with convenience. But there are disadvantages.

There's nothing wrong with having all of the data the camera recorded (raw files) at your disposal to render images in post-production. But there are disadvantages.

Deciding between convenience and flexibility is a subjective exercise.
