Hey,
is there a Japanese camera buy & sell forum like fredmiranda?
Since the new R-D1x is only released in Japan, those used/old R-D1(s) will have their prices pushed down further there, so I wonder if there is a Japanese equipment trading forum that I can fetch a R-D1 from for a good price.

A good place to start is Yahoo Auction Japan, very popular. I dont know any forum because I cant read Japanese.

Yahoo auctions is a great place but I haven`t seen any seller who is willing to ship outside of Japan and I think you need to be resident of Japan to sign up. (Also, buyers pay mostly via bank-to-bank transfer and you need a residence in Japan to open a bank account)

I know there are sites that purchase for you and ship to you what you bid on... since I haven't used them yet, just browsed around, I have no idea how much it costs though. Will try to look for a link...

try also rakuten.co.jp one of the biggest auction sites in Japan (some friends of mine prefer this over Yahoo auctions Japan)
