I just posted a thread with links to a bunch of jpgs on flickr. I am sure I am not the first to confront this, but do any frequent picture posters here have a sense of what processing works best to show pictures on RFF to full advantage? I am struggling to deal with the necessary down-sampling that the Internet pipeline requires. I started with a very detail-rich and saturated DNG file from an M8 and another from a D3 and by the time I have adjusted the bits from 14 to 8, the resolution from 300 down to 72 and the size from 10x16 to 6x9, I'm thinking: where is my saturation? What the heck happened to my greens etc.?
Any rules of thumb out there?

I just learned this trick by viewing a Robklurfield gallery posting. Such a simple solution. guy's thiunking out of the box. So I did the same thing here.
