New York July NYC Meet-up?

Of course anyone who wants to go to that opening can go, but this is regarding our usual meet-up which occurs on a weekend day.

27th is OK.

Any theme for the meet?

Following up on Dallas BBQ (corner of 23rd and 8th) as a future meeting place:
Beer on tap: Bud, Coors Light, Sam Adams, Blue Moon.
Bottled beer: Heineken, Amstel Light, Corona.

Oh, if somebody can bring a Sony A6000, I'd like to shoot some test shots to see how it performs with my 40mm Summicron.
I'm trying to decide between the A6000 and the Fuji X-E2.

Are you trying to attract participants or drive them away? ;-)

Neither...just following up as promised.
Yeah, their beer selection certainly won't win them any awards, but I think Sam Adams is OK.

Anyway, it's only in your system for a few of hours, at most.

Their BBQ brisket makes up for it.

Honestly, that beer list isn't going to work.

I have the A7r, but no adapters.

Yes, the 27th it is...

I have a Leica M lenses to Sony NEX adapter (Novoflex) for my previously owned NEX 7 and sitting on the bench now waiting for a Sony that I may like in the future. But, I will be traveling on the weekend of 26th and 27th. I can bring it to the meet up of August instead, or PM me.

I will try to make it - still at Puck Fair, this time, correct?

Will attempt to bundle with the Winogrand exhibit.

If we're talking BBQ, there are certainly better places to go in the city. But this isn't about BBQ either. I think Dallas is pretty loud compared to what we're used to. I like Puck Fair and hope that we keep meeting there as long as it's around. After that, we'll find some other quiet place with a good beer selection.

Not sure if I can make this one either. I recently got into a bike wreck. Car door opened up right in front of me and I damaged my left shoulder a bit, so I can't drive right now. I could always take the train or bus but I hate being beholden to a schedule. All that and Sundays are recently otherwise taken up. :D

Fidel this is at the MET right? It's donation based entree, You can plonk down $1 and still be allowed in. I always just give them $5:D

Aha!!!!
Ic, I dont pay at most museums in NYC because of work, so I never notice which are donation based or not...

Puck Fair will be open until Dec 2014 - Jan 2015... so we won't be changing until after that.

It all depends on the development of that site. Those things often get delayed, postponed or cancelled. We'll see what happens when the time comes.
