with a problem. Described as in excellent condition 🙂 I could see that the lens number had been obliterated, but it came from the KMZ stable so I thought, ok. Arrived today and (I still can't believe this) some-one has filed off the red locking post on the lens! It beggars belief that someone would vandalize a lens but then to offer it for sale as beaut .. well rockyBay is a leap into the unknown

If you get stuck with the lens, the optics module comes out easily and can be placed into a pre-war Sonnar mount. On the Sonnar mount, some filing is required bit is not hard.

Does the optic assembly unscrew as the thread mount lenses? And where would I look for a sonnar barrel-any thoughts. Thanks for the input.

The optics module unscrews like the LTM version, AFTER removing the set screw.

I have several pre-war Sonnar barrels left over from lens conversions. Sending you a PM.
