Hey all,
is pincushion distortion fairly normal with the Jupiter-8? Or does mine have a problem?

I think this is a Sonnar characteristic. Even the latest Zeiss Sonnars have pincushion distortion. http://diglloyd.com/blog/2012/20120927_2-Zeiss-135f2-APO-Sonnar-MTF-full-range.html
The Russian 35mm lens (the one with the big rearward projecting element) also has scads of pincushion distortion.

Thanks Robert.
I kinda figured it might be normal.
