Canon LTM Just become a Canon guy!

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Yah, I'd say that goes right to the head of the class. OK, maybe not a 7 or a P or even an F1, but wow, schweet!

Best Regards,

i don't know about those black ones, everyone will notice it and then you will have a hard time with street shooting.

tell ya what i'm gonna do...

i have a very nice chrome canon 1.7 and i'd be willing to trade ya straight across for that black one:)...

Thanks !

The camera is really nice cosmetically, and fully operational. The main drawback is the optics not very clean, hope this won't cause image degradation. Anyway the clean black outlook really impress me.:D

Woooaaaa !!! And a first class one !! :D Congratulations !!! Where did you find that beauty ?!

Hello Taffer,

I got it from a local used equipment store. Don't know if it's worth the price whcich cost almost 50% more than a good chrome Q17.

Hello Joe,

Before coming across this black body, I really want to find a good chrome one. Anyway, maybe I should seek one more chrome body to form a twins gear setup for both colour/ B&W films.:D

Nice black!

I saw a couple go through on eBay 1-2 months ago at about 200 dollars each.

Well if you only paid 50% more than for a good working chrome one then you did very good, sometimes they go for much more ! :)

Oh, and don't worry too much about dirt in the lens, even though a lens hood may be a good idea.

Enjoy !

Am I also a Canon guy now?

Am I also a Canon guy now?

Look at this little baby which the postman has brought to me today ... I bought it on Pay-and-pray-bay from a dealer in Germany, for slightly more than 100 USD. It's nice and clean, will need new seals and to get the rangefinder aligned - there we go. I'll look to Brian's great DIY-tutorial when I do the alignment job. The feel of this camera is great. If the output is so too - then I think I bought a nice piece, really!

That is a pretty one!

I just got back one roll from each of the Canonets that I picked up from Rob. The flood cleaning took care of the stuck shutters and the new seals were light-tight. You also got it at a good price; I sold off a Black QL17, engraved, and ex-, and fetched almost $200! It went toward the Nikon SP.

I just picked up a QL17 GIII in black myself. I'll probably sell my chorme one once I have the black sent out of a CLA and assure its working properly.

Addicting camears these rangefinders are!!! I keep looking, wanting, then buying. There is no end!!
