Nothing fancy, from the local used camera shop. Somewhat of an impulsive buy, it seems like it's a an "Auto L 38" model since I found a manual on the 'net http://www.butkus.org/chinon/sekonic_l-38/sekonic.htm

Wondering if anyone's got experience with these meters? I really liked the mechanical feel and nice design and it's batteryless. Checked the metering against the SLRs I have and it seemed to give reasonable results to within a 1/2 stop.

The first meter I bought back about 1974 was a Micro Leader. Not selenium, but a very nice and versatile meter. A couple of years later I got an L28c2. That was a selenium and a really great meter. I still have it but after dropping it one too many times I now use a Gossen Luna Pro and Luna Pro SBC. One of these days I will get the L28c2 fixed. Too good a meter not to use it. Glad you like yours.
