Flagrant plug: It's taken more than three months, but I've finally edited down the snarky documentary photos I shot at our local Fashion Week back in September, and have posted several galleries' worth on my blog. [Note: Link is now fixed.] Please feel free to have a dekko if you are so inclined!
All these were shot with a Pana G1 and either a 50mm f/1.1 Nokton M-mount or 12.5mm f/1.9 Cosmicar C-mount. (The Cosmicar shots are easy to recognize -- they're the round ones!) I admit that I've included some shots on which I just plain missed the correct focus point, but overall I thought both lenses handled well.
To add some educational value, look at the interesting behavior I noticed from the Nokton when imaging out-of-focus point light sources in the background; they almost look like soap bubbles! It doesn't bother me, but "bokehologists" may want to take note. (Feel free to use this to explain to your spouse/financial planner/bankruptcy judge why you need the $10,000 Leica Noctilux instead of the Nokton...)
