I just recieved a Kameraleder case. Since I had trouble myself, finding actual user pictures of one before buying, I thought I´d like to show it here, in case anyone else considers this case.
I went for the full case with medium snout, which can close around a Summicron 35 with both types of shade that fit this lens. You can probably have George make just the top for the case, if you later wish to have a shorter or longer snout. His design makes it possible to completely remove the top from the case. I also bought the strap that George makes for this case.
The single feature that made me choose this case over cases from other manufacturers was the bottom finger screw that goes into the tripod threading and locks camera and case together. I know that it must be screwed out at every film change. That´s not a problem for me.

I'd never heard of them until I saw zerobuttons' photo of the case in another thread. I like the half-case design w/strap and just moments ago got off the phone with George and ordered one. As the lugs are getting a bit worn on my M4 this is a great solution.

Like zerobuttons pointed out, the fact that the case is screwed into the tripod mount is, to me, a good thing. As I use this camera more deliberatively than my digital stuff, slightly slower film changing is a non issue to me.

George is also a nice guy to talk to.

I bought a case from George for my Nikon 28ti. It was easily the nicest case I have ever owned, the finishing was impeccable.

Mine arrived yesterday and it's very, very nice. I mentioned in my earlier post that the lugs seemed quite worn on my M4 and while I'll have them replaced someday if the camera needs a CLA on my watch I'm not sending in the camera for that alone.

I must say that while the case increases the bulk of the camera, it actually makes it more comfortable for me to grip and use, especially in the cold weather we get in Idaho.

Some people gripe about changing film when you have a case on the camera but my Leica is a thing to use deliberately and rapid film changes are simply something I don't need to do with the way I use the camera.

To me, the black Kameraleder half case and strap is quite elegant and fits the M series Leica beautifully.

That was my taking on this, too. And I didn´t dare trust those snap-locks on other types. People (even a few professionals) used this design solution for decades. Why shouldn´t it still work.....? ;)
