I think forum member Mistral75 had debunked these net SE scams many times throughout the years. Yet unsuspecting people would still ignorantly back these thousand-dollar would-be products that offer optical quality of a $50 lens, with others chanting in the back "anything new in film is good" with blind faith.
These guys ride on the "renaissance" tide, somehow intentionally created for someone to capitalize on, swiftly. So next time you see anyone offering something retro (often at an astonishing price tag), be skeptical first.
