I ask this because I am seeking to have a older Kiev cla , also , to buy an early 50/51/52 Kiev 2 - dI don't know why . its' just numbers ! But ASdee loves sequences !

However , i realise that I love my Oleg Kiev 4m , not only 'os it makes great pics , the meter works ,and it's convenient to use ...

But , because it's near new ...

I would love an older Kiev , but it will have to be in good cosmetic condition for me to really WANT to use it .

This , currently , would be a '55 '''kiev'' 3 rather than a '55 '' KNeB '' 2 .

Is this important to you ?

FWIW, my best kievs have all been from the early to mid 70's - 72, 76 & 77, while my worst was from 59. My other bit of experience is to buy ones that look used as the pretty ones were either on a shelf or in a desk drawer till us foolish westerners came along with cash ... ;)
