Dear friends,
I would like to introduce myself. I am Kike Calvo, a Spanish photographer based in NYC. I would like to thank you for this wonderful information about rangefinders.
I am a Nikon guy, and recently started shooting with an M8.
I have a question about lenses. Which IR Leica filters should I use for Zeiss 50 1.4 and 21 2.8? Any suggestions will be very welcome and appreciated.
I would like to take the opportunity to invite you to check my site www.KIKECALVO.com
Best wishes and hoping to chat with many of you in the near future.

I really enjoyed your photos. Especially the wide of the what, bamboo? Also the ladies in their costumes. Nice color.
Hope to see more.

Welcome on board
I have the 28/2.8 Biogon (excellent lens btw) and it takes the Leica UV/IR or B&W 486 46 mm filter. However this focal length must be coded. John Milich sells the appropriate codable lens mount.
It is also advisable to use the ZI 25/28 lens hood, as the original 21 mm one is quite useless.
