Well, trading on Ebay since 1998, it appears I'm getting in troubles with non-responsive seller for the first time.
A week and half ago I picked there a brand new Gossen DigiSix ex. meter auctioned by 47stphoto seller (apparently resides in NY). Appeared to be quite a reputable one.
Paid Paypal on 10/7, received their payment processing confirmation on 10/8. They commit to ship within 3 business days from payment by UPS worldwide saver service with USP tracking email to be dispatched to the buyer. They also advise if no UPS shipment message is received within 5 business days since payment - to get in touch with them and also provide a green line (in US) 1-800-xxxxxx.
Obviously, since my payment I didn't hear from them. Now UPS shipment no any other emails from them. I emailed them 3 times on the course of teh last 5-6 days, no response. I've tried to call them (urged log distance international call to their 1-800 line- its paid one by international rates if called from abroad) - cannot catch them up there.
I thought perhaps the kindness of RFF fellows who resides in US will help me to resolve the issue...so I'd kindly ask someone in US to call them on their 1-800-xxxxx numer on my behalf (I'll provide all teh necessary info on my order, etc...) to check out what is going on with these guys in 47stphoto.
So, if someone here is willing to help a misfortune foreign RFF fellow 🙂 - let me know (here in the thread of PM), I'll provide all necessary details of the order.
