Knock-Off Batteries - Good or Bad Idea?

I need an extra battery for my X100 (I usually buy OEM spares when I get the camera, but I didn't this time). There are several (very) cheap knock-off NP-95 Li-ion options out there. Has anyone used these, or is this a case of 'you get what you pay for'?

I buy the cheap ones for all my digicams knowing I am taking a chance but it's worked out every time.
