I have the above camera, and the shutter is not working on it. As these cameras are not worth too much these days, I figured it would be a good opportunity to trial my shutter repair skills for the first time.

After getting down to the shutter assembly, I have worked out the problem part and also what (I think) is wrong with it. Though I am not 100% sure how to fix it, so I thought I would ask the knowledge here for some help before continuing....

I have pictures of it all etc. - If there is anyone with experience with these shutters, please let me know.

*EDIT*

I have come across an image online of a ball bearing shutter that labels all the parts, this has enabled me to explain my problem a bit better ( the image is not of the exact shutter I am working on though).

1. One of the shutter blades is partly bent (this I know of a way to fix)

2. There also seems to be a problem with the mechanics of the shutter

The problem (*I think*) is that the shutter activation leaver is not being "Cocked" by the shutter release button...

the activation leaver seems to be sitting too low - seems simple enough, just bend it up a bit...

but then when the shutter button tries to return to it's normal position it fouls on the activation leaver.....

so I am a bit confused...

Everything from the activation leaver onwards seems to work ok, it just seems like the link between the shutter button and activation leaver is damaged.

All springs seem ok, and everything else looks free from damage and not loose.
