Over the last couple of weeks now I have noticed a number of Retina IIIc/C's showing up on eBay with mis-matched lens. Serial number of the front element does not match the number on the black ring or rear element group..
These numbers should all match or your camera may or may not focus properly so if you are watching one ask the seller if all 3 numbers match. If not I would pass up that particular auction if they don't..
