very nice! The 57/1.4 AR is one of the best kept secrets!

I like mine for the FOV and bokeh.

Very nicely done, Kent.
Tell us about the NEX-7. How do you feel using it?
Does it give you the same satisfaction (or better) than your film cameras?

Raid, I love the handling of the "7"!
It's a nice mixture between the typical NEX-usage (which I know and am accustomed to because of the NEX-3) and a more classical approach with those "tri-navi" wheels.
My favourite film cams are the Yashica 35 GS and the Zorki-4 and yes, the handling of the NEX-7 definitely can catch up with those, IMHO.
Of course, it is different and you need to get used to it. But I needed about one day to get to that point.
The NEX-7 is not perfect, but it is a very, very good camera.

excellent samples of a truly great lens. i have planars, biometars, heliars and skpoars and i can safely say none beat this lens at any aperture. in fact, i also have hexanon ar's 21, 24, 40,&85 and this is my favorite out of all of them.

Beautiful renditions by that combo. Sharp where it needs to be, and soft, not smeared in the background. With all the bad news coming out of Rochester lately, I may have to start rethinking what direction I'm going.
