Hi,
Though I switched to digital a few years ago, my Canon F1's and my Hexar AF are still on the shelf. Despite the brilliant images of the Hexar (better than those made with Canon F1 + 1.4/50 or 2.8/28), the camera, especially the shutter, seems to be not reliable. The shutter has been replaced twice and now it seems to be broken again. Repairs are quite expensive, as the complete shutter module needs to be replaced. Does anyone know of a weak point in the Hexar shutter?
Regards, Jorrit
