Konica Hexar RF Forum?

Why is there no Hexar RF forum. Could the moderator/owner compile all the Hexar threads and put them in one listing. I have several questions and would like somewhere to post.

starting a new forum is jorge's decision, so that one is out of my perview.

collecting all the threads into one would be a massive amount of work, unless there is some software trick to it.
maybe just do a search for now or ask your questions anew.

I have been searching and asking a lot of questions,. Actually, when I searched the amount of threads posted led me to think that there should be a seperate Hexar forum.

I am new here but I am also interested in the Hexar...What stops me is price. Even the older models are out of range at the moment! But I have searched here on the forum for threads relating to it. My impression has been that there are mixed feelings about it...the fact that is is auto focus does not appeal to some (again...my impression here!)...But I have seen photos taken with it in various places across the web and have been impressed! I was sorry to see that they are going capute (not in production anymore)...

My bad...I am always getting those classifications mixed up...I mean the older models like the Hexar silver (ie Hexar AF)...thats the one I would pick up if I had the money!

Instead of a Hexar forum, a Konica forum would be more appropriate and in tune with the other forums. That would include the older Konica RF's like the Konica III, IIIa, IIIm, I (was there a II?), auto S to S3, C35 etc.
 
If I am remembering correctly when RFF started the Hexar RF had been recently discontinued. Jorge set up forums for the currently produced cameras, Bessa, and Leica M in particular, and the thought was that Hexar talk would fall into the Leica M category. Since then we have grown and forums have been added, just recently we got a Leica LTM forum.

Yep, there is one Russian forum for all the various makes of Russian rangefinders - whose total production was in the millions and were produced over a span of 40 plus years.
 
I think we shouldn't overdo on the brand specific forums. Before you know it there's one for Minolta, Olympus, Konica, forum etc. etc.

I can live with putting the Hexar/Hexanon stuff in 'Leica-M' or 'others'..
 
it seems there's enough konica talk for a separate forum. not much about the minolta cle, olympus xa, 35rc/rd, etc.
