I really, really love this rugged little workhorse of a camera. Not bad for being tossed around for 60 years. This is the very early, pre- flash sync model; Hexar 3.5.

Acros, Xtol 1:1

First roll since being CLA'd by Dean's of Idaho. Life is good when one second is once again one second.
A few more on flickr.

My dad brought home a Konica I from Japan in 1951. He hung on to it to the very end. I have it now. It has the flash sync. but he tossed out the flash and cord years ago. I must treat it to a CLA soon jsut because I figure it deserves it.

I like the way Acros looks with this camera. I still have dad's Kodachromes from the 1950s. They aren't too shabby either. There's a roll of BW400CN in the camera now. I may stick to B&W. I will use this camera more often.

Thanks for sharing.

No filters used. I wish I had a yellow filter for it, at least. I did manage to find a Konihood lens hood for it, though. Gotta have the hood.

That is so cool that you have your dad's camera. And what a camera it is. I am so impressed by this one.

Hi Rose,
The photos are excellent and this little camera is a great one. I have a similar Konica I, and I may send it soon the Dean to get it in top shape as you have done.
